Difference between Cooperative and Producer Company
Cooperative company
- It registered under the Cooperative society Act
- Cooperative company is single objected
- Cooperative company share is not tradable and transformable
- Cooperative company Area of operation is restricted
- Cooperative company membership is individual and cooperatives
- In Cooperative company one member can vote only one vote but register of cooperatives have veto power
- Cooperative company borrowing power is restricted
Producer company
- Producer company registered under the Indian company Act
- Producer company is multi objectives
- Producer company area of restriction is entire union of India take operation
- Producer company share is not Tradable but it can transferable to limited members on per value
- Producer company membership will be individual, group, Association, producer of service.
- In Producer company one member can vote only one vote company can not hold veto power.
- Producer company borrowing power is more freedom and more alternative.

whether shares of Multi-state Cooperative Society can be refunded to a member if he/she surrender his/her shares...?
ReplyDeleteThere is a marginal difference between cooperative and producer company. All the ills of cooperative will also be inherited by producer company.We are not learning from our past. We have made changes in cooperative societies act but even they are not reflected or not mentioned.
